3\21\06-VIDEOS PAGE IS UP: God DAMN! This page was a hell of a lot of work, but it feels good that it's uploaded and 100%. You can now check out five videos of us jammin out at Wildwood's with original singer/guitarist Jay Corbett. This was his last show with the band before moving to Arizona like a fag. Very cool stuff here, three of the videos are covers, two are originals. Check 'em out by clicking the "videos" button to the right. -Jay (pissed off and broke!)

3\19\06-MUSIC PAGE IS UP: Yooooo, finally got the music page up. Right now it has the entire "Killing What Haunts You" EP, from when we were Transfixion. Within the next week I will be adding three or four more "Remembrance" demo tracks in addition to the one on the home page. At that time I will upload the "Remembrance" music page. Click the music button to the right to access the goods. -A drunken Jay

3\8\06-PICTURES PAGE IS UP: Hey everyone, the photos page is up and running. I put up some pictures of the original Transfixion lineup. Most of them are from a show we played at Shamrock's about two years ago. Some of them are pretty shitty, due to the fact that my buddy Tom had the camera, and he was fuckin hammered! To access the page click the "photos" button on the menu to the right, and make sure to check back, as I have plenty more pics that I will be adding. -J

"BIRTH OF THE PARASITE" MP3 ADDED: Yo Yo metal heads. Check it out, we added an MP3 track off our upcoming record. It's called "Birth of the parasite". And of course, it is some heavy fucking shit! Stay tuned for big news!! -Jay

2\22\06-INFO ON "PROJECT REMEMBRANCE:" -Just to let everyone know, this past November we began recording our first full-length record tentatively titled: "Remembrance." At this time I would say that the tracking for this record is over 50 percent complete. What remains is a whole lot of vocals, harmony guitars, bass tracks and guitar leads. There is still a lot of work to be done here, it almost feels over-whelming. Especially when you consider that every track on the record will be performed by one of two people. That's right, this time around Chris and I will be the only two musicians on the record. I will be doing all of the drum tracks, (of course!) and this time all of the vocal tracks as well. Chris will be performing on all guitar and bass tracks. We will be slowly adding MP3 tracks from this record, so check back here for those and any other updates concerning project "Remembrance." -Jay

TRANSFIXION CHANGES THEIR NAME: What's up everybody. Well it's time to let the cat outta the bag here. If you're seeing this, then the chances are that you tried visiting the Transfixion website and you were re-directed. The Fatal Effect, you ask?? Yup, that IS in fact the new name of the band formerly known as Transfixion. You know, I started this band about three years ago and I never thought we would go anywhere with it, but as time goes by things change. The bigger this thing gets the more research I have done, and it has come to my attention that there is another band in Brazil in our same genre, with the same name. Yup, you guessed it, they were around first, so to avoid any sort of conflict we have changed the name and launched this website. Stay tuned, as there will be more "shocking" changes, and some bombshell news coming very soon. -Jay
